    Katherine (Kate) Eccles OAM is a Business Leader and Environmentalist. She is President of The Mosman Parks & Bushland Association. For many years, Kate has been active in bush regeneration work on the headlands of Sydney Harbour, in particular, the Mosman peninsula.

  • Jeanette Covacevich AM PSM

    Herpetologist

    Jeanette Covacevich AM was a herpetologist in Queensland. As a senior curator of vertebrates at the Queensland Museum, she discovered and studied many reptiles and frogs in Queensland. She is most famous for rediscovering and describing the Inland Taipan snake (Oxyuranus microlepidotus), the world's most venomous snake. In addition, she described over thirty new species and genera including the Cape York striped blind snake (Ramphotyphlops chamodracaena), the Nangur spiny skink (Nangura spinosa), and the Bulburin leaf-tailed gecko (Phyllurus caudiannulatus).

    Dr Aila Keto AO is an Australian environmentalist. She is the founder and President of the Rainforest Conservation Society in Queensland. During her career, she has been involved in the protection of more than 15,000 square kilometres of Queensland's rainforest.

    Helene Marsh AO is Emeritus Professor in Environmental Science and a Professorial Fellow at James Cook University. She is a Fellow of both the Australian Academies of Science and Technological Sciences and Engineering and has received international and national awards for her research.
