Women’s corroboree

Women are gathered around three secret places, they are dancing and singing. The concentration of simple coloured dots represents the dust which rises during the dancing. Wild summer flowers are scattered all about.
Mary Pultara is the mother of Lisa Pultara who painted Women’s corroboree, and the daughter of Kitty Pultara-Naparula who painted Women’s corroboree at Laramba. Mary’s family Dreamings are Kangaroo and Lychee. She is a member of the Anmatyere Tribe, Central Northern Territory.
Emeritus Professor Dr Mary Sheehan, was an academic in QUT’s Faculty of Health, School of Psychology and Counselling.
